Meet Our Founder

Dr. Joan Lawrence-Ross is an accomplished performance improvement strategist and organizational psychologist with more than 20 years of experience in corporate, consulting, and academic organizations. She has designed, developed, or implemented key initiatives such as corporate and business unit strategic plans, feasibility studies, organization restructuring and design, global learning and development strategic plans, competency modeling, talent assessment, leadership development, performance management, employee engagement, and succession planning.

Joan has extensive experience directing, designing, and implementing large-scale, high-impact strategic plans, leadership, learning, and other key talent management initiatives for both public and private companies. She has coached hundreds of leaders in the areas of strategy development, strategic thinking, strategy execution, change management, leadership effectiveness, and leadership success. Joan designs customized insight assessments that she uses in her leadership workshops, seminars, and individual coaching sessions to help leaders identify and focus on optimal development and growth areas.

Joan has served a diverse range of industries including financial services, insurance, consumer goods, energy, pharmaceuticals, telecommunication, professional services, and government agencies. She has held senior executive roles in Fortune 500 Companies such as AIG, AXA, and Citi, working both locally in the United States and internationally across EMEA, ASIA-Pacific, and Latin America.

Joan is a lifelong professional learner who is committed to keeping current on the best ways to help individuals operate at peak performance from a variety of perspectives and vantage points. She has studied human capital elements in the fields of psychology, sociology, business, economics, and spiritual health to build awareness, knowledge, and deep learning to understand how to take individuals, teams, and organizations (large, small, complex, simple, global, or local) to a higher performing and productive space.

Joan is a consummate professional who operates with high levels of integrity and excellence. Born and raised in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Joan relocated to the United States to pursue advanced learning opportunities. She is married and resides in West Orange, New Jersey.
