At Uncomon Resilience LLC, we are committed to your success and satisfaction. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms for our three coaching programs: The Vault (self-paced digital courses), The Academy (group coaching program), and Elite Coaching (1:1 executive coaching).

Please review this policy carefully before purchasing any program or service.

THE VAULT (Digital Courses)

Refund Policy

All sales of digital courses in The Vault are final once you have accessed the course content.

What "accessed" means:

  • Downloaded any course materials
  • Watched any video lessons
  • Opened any workbook or assessment
  • Logged into the course platform after enrollment

Why this policy: Digital products are delivered immediately upon purchase. Once accessed, the content cannot be "returned" as it has been received in full.

Satisfaction Guarantee (Before Access)

If you have NOT accessed any course content, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase by emailing [email protected] with:

  • Your name
  • Order number
  • Confirmation that you have not accessed any course materials

Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method.

No Refunds After Access

Once you access any portion of a Vault course, the purchase is considered complete and no refunds will be provided.

Exception: Technical issues that prevent course access may be eligible for refund or technical support resolution. Contact [email protected] immediately if you experience technical difficulties.

THE ACADEMY (Group Coaching Program)

Enrollment & Payment

The Academy is a 6-week cohort-based group coaching program with a specific start date. Payment is required at enrollment to reserve your spot in the cohort.

Payment Options:

  • Full payment: $1,197-$1,497 (depending on program level)
  • Payment plans available (contact us for details)

Refund Policy

FULL REFUND: Before Week 2

You may withdraw from The Academy and receive a full refund if you notify us before the start of Week 2 of your cohort by emailing [email protected].

To receive your refund:

  • Email [email protected] with "Academy Withdrawal" in the subject line
  • Provide your name and cohort start date
  • Submit request before Week 2 begins

NO REFUND: After Week 2

After Week 2 begins, no refunds will be provided. However, you will retain:

  • ✅ Access to all recorded session videos
  • ✅ Access to all Academy materials and workbooks
  • ✅ Lifetime access to the Academy resource library
  • ✅ Community access (if applicable)

Why this policy:

The Academy is a cohort-based program with limited enrollment. After Week 2, the program is underway, materials have been delivered, and your spot cannot be filled by another participant. Retaining access to all materials ensures you still receive value even if you cannot complete the live program.

Transfers & Postponements

Cannot attend your cohort? You may transfer to a future Academy cohort (one time only, no fee) if you notify us at least 5 days before your current cohort starts. Contact [email protected] to arrange.

Medical or family emergencies: Contact us at [email protected]. We will work with you on a case-by-case basis to find an appropriate solution.

ELITE COACHING (1:1 Executive Coaching)

Engagement Terms

Elite Coaching is a premium 1:1 coaching partnership available in 3-month, 6-month, or 12-month packages. Sessions are scheduled bi-weekly (or as agreed in your coaching agreement).

Payment Options:

  • Paid in full (upfront)
  • Payment plans: 3-month, 6-month, or 12-month installments

Session Cancellation & Rescheduling

24-Hour Notice Required

Individual coaching sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice. Contact [email protected] or use your scheduling system to reschedule.

Cancellations with 24+ hours notice:

  • Sessions can be rescheduled to another available time
  • No sessions are forfeited
  • No fees charged

Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or no-shows:

  • Session is considered used
  • Session cannot be rescheduled
  • No refund provided for that session

Exceptions for emergencies:

Medical emergencies, family emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact [email protected] immediately if an emergency prevents you from attending with 24 hours notice.

Program Cancellation & Refunds

After First Session:

If you choose to cancel your Elite Coaching program after your first session has been completed, you will receive a pro-rated refund calculated as follows:

Pro-rated refund calculation:

  1. Total package cost minus initial assessment session costs
  2. Minus completed sessions (at standard hourly rate)
  3. Remaining balance refunded to original payment method

Example (6-month package, $15,000 paid in full):

  • Initial assessment session cost: $1,500
  • Completed sessions: 3 sessions @ $1,200 each = $3,600
  • Refundable amount: $15,000 - $1,500 - $3,600 = $9,900 refund

Payment Plan Cancellations:

If you are on a payment plan and cancel:

  • Remaining installments are cancelled immediately
  • Completed sessions are charged at standard hourly rate
  • Any overpayment is refunded
  • Any underpayment is invoiced and due within 30 days

Before First Session:

If you cancel Elite Coaching before your first session, you will receive a full refund minus a $500 administrative fee (to cover onboarding, assessment preparation, and scheduling).

Elite Coaching Commitment

Elite Coaching is a strategic partnership that requires mutual commitment. By enrolling, you agree to:

  • Attend scheduled sessions (or reschedule with 24+ hours notice)
  • Complete agreed-upon assignments between sessions
  • Engage authentically in the coaching process

Coach's Right to Terminate:

Uncomon Resilience LLC reserves the right to terminate a coaching engagement if:

  • Client repeatedly misses sessions without notice
  • Client is not engaging authentically in the process
  • The coaching relationship is not productive for either party

In such cases, a pro-rated refund will be provided using the calculation above.

PAYMENT PROCESSING

Payment Methods Accepted

We accept:

  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
  • Debit cards
  • ACH/Bank transfer (for Elite Coaching packages only)

All payments are processed securely through our payment processor.

Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days and will appear in your account within 7-10 business days depending on your financial institution.

Chargebacks & Disputes

Before initiating a chargeback:

If you have concerns about your purchase or believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us first at [email protected]. We are committed to resolving any issues directly.

Chargeback policy:

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in:

  • Loss of access to all course materials and programs
  • Forfeiture of any scheduled coaching sessions
  • Potential legal action to recover costs

We will work with you in good faith to resolve legitimate concerns. 

SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES

Technical Issues

If technical issues prevent you from accessing purchased content, contact [email protected] immediately. We will:

  1. Attempt to resolve the technical issue
  2. Provide alternative access methods if available
  3. Issue a refund if the issue cannot be resolved

Medical or Family Emergencies

We understand that life happens. If you experience a medical or family emergency that prevents you from participating in The Academy or Elite Coaching, contact us at [email protected]. We will work with you on a case-by-case basis to find an appropriate solution, which may include:

  • Transferring to a future cohort (Academy)
  • Pausing your coaching engagement (Elite)
  • Pro-rated refund or credit toward future services

Business or Organizational Changes

If organizational changes (layoff, role change, relocation) affect your ability to participate in Elite Coaching, contact us immediately. We will discuss options including:

  • Pausing the engagement
  • Transferring to a different coaching format
  • Pro-rated refund

GENERAL TERMS

No Refunds for Promotional or Discounted Purchases

Products or services purchased at promotional or discounted rates are non-refundable except as specifically outlined in the promotional terms.

Exception: The Academy refund policy (full refund before Week 2) applies to all purchases regardless of promotional pricing.

No Refunds for Partial Completion

There are no refunds for:

  • Partially completed Vault courses
  • Academy sessions you chose not to attend
  • Elite Coaching sessions you did not schedule or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice

You are responsible for engaging with the programs you purchase.

Subscription or Recurring Payments

If you are enrolled in any subscription-based service or recurring payment plan:

  • You may cancel at any time by emailing [email protected]
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle
  • No refunds for partial billing periods
  • You retain access through the end of your paid period

Modification of This Policy

Uncomon Resilience LLC reserves the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.

Your purchase is subject to the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
